These are the easiest cookie! I got the recipe from Julie at Quilt Club Wednesday. So easy she just told me, I drove home and made them. So here's the recipe: 1 box chocolate cake mix, 2 eggs and 1/3 cup oil. Mix together and add you choice chocolate chips and or mint chips and bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
Funny you should post this recipe. I just made these cookies (without the chocolate chips and nuts) and used cream cheese frosting between two to make what we know as "soft oreos". (I use devil's food cake mix and double the recipe to make 3 dozen sandwich cookies.) Yummy!
I make something very familiar to this except mine calls for 2 tbsp. of water also. I get more compliments and rave reviews over this easy recipe. It is REALLY yummy also with white cake mix too..oh my!! When they go on sale for 99 cents here I buy tons of boxes....
