Our youngest daughter makes her own laundry soap this way, it's wonderful. I'd like to know if there's a recipe for liquid. I have a front loader, which is very efficient, but needs liquid. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Linda

Hi, I am very interested in making the soap. Could you give me a little more on the directions? Do you just mix all of this together? Thanks so much. I really like your blog!

I would like to know about the liquid as well...it would have to low sudsing. Front loaders require low suds.

Ok I love this soap... you only need to shread the bar soap and I use my kitchenaid shreader because it makes a finer one than the hand one. And then you just mix it all together. Easy-peasy!

Debbie,
You know I love this soap too. My kids love to help me make it. My oldest is all about "Being Green" now and she applauds anyone who uses this soap.

I have a front loader and I add the powder to 1/2 cup of hot water, stir it well and pour it in immediately for all you ladies who had questions about that. There are almost no suds to this laundry soap and my washer always smells fresh!

I have only used the Fels Naptha soap. I am going to try it with the Zote Soap next time.
